Meet & mingle with other book lovers at our monthly social!
This month, our meet-up will be followed by a talk with Indigenous author, researcher and historian Rick Hill. Hill is a member of the Beaver Clan of the Tuscarora Nation and a leading knowledge specialist at the First Nation Technical Institute and one of the authors of Behind the Bricks, an important work that provides deep insight into the Mohawk Institute, Canada's first, and longest-running, residential school.
The meet-up runs from 6:15pm to 7pm, with the author talk beginning in Centennial Hall at 7pm. Remember to reserve your free spot for the author talk.
What did you read for September's theme? Share thoughts about your book—and hear about other titles to add to your To-Read list. Plus, you could win a fun door prize just for showing up! No registration is required to attend the meet-up.
