Badami discusses her writing life and her new novel, Asha in her Garden, a big-hearted, compulsively readable, and relatable novel about mysteries, ambitions, misunderstandings, and miracles that ricochet and echo through a close-knit family and the woman at its centre.

About the Author
Anita Rau Badami has written multiple bestsellers and award-winners and nominees, including The Hero's Walk, Can You Hear the Nightbird Call? and Tell It to the Trees, which were longlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. In addition to being a recipient of the Marian Engel Award for a mid-career woman writer, Badami is a visual artist.
